This probably applies mostly to people who like Shoujo manga, but any help is greatly appreciated.

I am looking for a little market information as I prepare some work, but I haven't had time to read manga for some time and don't really know exactly what is popular anymore. I am looking particularly toward Shoujo manga with a bit of comedy directed toward teens to adults.

So, here's the thing. What appeals to you in manga? Again, this is particularly in Shoujo manga, but any suggestion from other genres is probably fine as well. What series do you like and why? Be as specific as you can. If you like manga about people with three eyes, by all means tell me.
